Quick hits from Tuesday's CONCACAF Champions Cup:
- Joe Public embarrassed New England Revolution 4-0 to win 6-1 on aggregate, eliminating the Revs. Gregory Richardson scored a quality hat trick to put the Trinidad & Tobago side into Group C. If Richardson is around to put Joe Public into the Champions Cup next year I'll be shocked; he's far too talented not to get snatched up by an MLS squad.
- Chivas USA and Tauro FC drew 1-1 at Home Depot Center but it wasn't enough to keep Chivas from being eliminated 3-1 on aggregate. Now DC United and Houston Dynamo are the only MLS teams in the group stage.
- Montreal Impact, however, have advanced as a scoreless draw against Nicaraguan side Real Esteli gave them a 1-0 aggregate victory.
